"Experiencing the landscape is my starting point for creating. My work is a visual response to the multi-sensory experiences imprinted in my memory: sounds of birds and nature, the grass moving, scents and the wind on my skin. I love to play with colour shifts, saturated and desaturated colour and layers. Expressive marks and energetic lines celebrate the freedom and joy that I draw from the landscape. I work from my garden studio in Leven and have a selection of original paintings available to purchase."

Amber Oates

"Willow Leather products are all handmade using vegetable-tanned leather. My products are focussed on beautiful clean-looking & practical pieces which will be timeless. The colour of the vegetable tanned leather improves over time, with a rich patina (golden colour) developing through everyday use. Vegetable tanning uses natural ingredients such as tree bark, fruits and leaves in the tanning (dying) process, and is considered the most environmentally friendly approach to dying leather.
Each piece is designed and handmade in Hertfordshire by yours truly Amber Willow."
In our shop we currently have available: keyrings, key loops, purses, coin pouches, business card holders, marble purse making kits, earrings, book marks, star decorations, cards and cable ties.

Mirella Dry
"Mirella Designs is a fashion lifestyle brand which sells dungarees and other products in prints designed by me, Mirella Dry! As well as dungarees, we sell Yorkshire and Hull inspired art prints, tote bags, tea towels, make-up bags, knitted garments, trousers, hair bows and scrunchies. We have a no waste policy which ensures that all fabric, trims and wool are reused, recycled and given a new life. All material left over from our dungarees are used to create something else. Slow fashion and textiles is something we are passionate about. By creating these pieces in small batches and only ordering the fabric we need, we hope to create fashion which is good for the environment, good for the consumer pocket and hard wearing so it will last longer than the average lifecycle of a high street garment."
In the shop we have a variety of Mirella's products available

"Hello! I’m Jayde, and I’m a teacher living and working in East Yorkshire. I have always loved art and I spend my free time painting, drawing and exploring lots of different mediums as way to express myself. I absolutely love bright colours, they bring me so much happiness and I love to use lots of colour in my art work to bring other people the same feelings of joy, excitement and energy. I find lots of inspiration from the natural world as it holds a very special place in my heart. I hope you enjoy seeing my art works as much as I have enjoyed creating them."

Jayne Taylor
"Hi my name is Jayne Taylor and I started Cheerful Nonsense by Just Jayne, as a bit of light relief from all the serious, mundane stuff that goes in general life! I love nothing more than taking a piece of wood and transforming it into something to make me smile. I make anything from a simple key ring to a rustic kitchen table and everything in between . All my pieces are individual and unique, quirky and rustic. Some people think it’s cheerful and some people think it’s nonsense 🤣☺️ hence the name. You can make your own decision! But I really hope you love it as much as I love making it."

Annie lives in Easingwold, North Yorkshire. She has embraced a love of painting following a career in nursing and podiatry. Annie has sold her paintings online and in galleries and shops for several years, whilst also attending various courses and workshops for further inspiration.
"I use mainly acrylics which give vibrant colour and texture to my work, and most of my paintings are on either handmade blocks or on canvases mounted in handmade frames. My biggest passion is being out in the countryside, right in the middle of it all, and my colourful textured painting is in some ways just 'what I bring home.' "
She concludes: "We aren't on this planet for long so let's do something that makes us happy."
In the shop we have a range of Annie's original card designs, prints and decorated notebooks.
